Desktop privacy
The desktop editions generate whistle tones, clicker sounds and the Quick yap sound on your device. They do not use a microphone, make audio recordings or upload audio. There is no account, telemetry, advertising, purchase system or Google SDK. Preferences and the last three reaction outcomes are stored locally. They remain until you choose Clear local data or remove the application’s stored data. Clear local data erases those preferences and outcomes. Removing the application may leave local data behind, depending on your operating system and removal method. Offline lesson reading and searching need no network request. Sharing sends the selected lesson to the destination you choose; that destination applies its own privacy rules. Downloading or updating through a website, package service or store sends requests to that provider. Providers may receive ordinary connection and request metadata, including an IP address. Their own policies govern retention and deletion; no fixed provider retention period is promised here. Clearing desktop data does not erase provider records. Opening system sound settings lets you check your selected audio output. onlinedogwhistle.com uses Cloudflare Web Analytics on this website through automatic installation by Cloudflare.
