Use a quiet, consistent cue

  1. Start with low system volume and keep the speaker away from ears. Choose a whistle frequency or clicker.
  2. Play a brief cue and pair it with a reward. Watch your dog and stop at any sign of discomfort.
  3. Repeat gently during the recall, attention or settle drill. Allow breaks; the app permits three drill runs per day.
