Extension privacy

Chrome, Edge and Firefox extensions are coming soon. Their whistle tones and clicker sounds are generated on your device. Quick yap plays a bundled audio clip. The extensions do not use a microphone, make audio recordings or upload audio. They have no account, telemetry, ads, purchases or Google SDK. Preferences and the last three reaction outcomes are kept in local extension storage. Those saved items remain until you choose Clear local data or remove the extension’s stored data. Clear local data deletes saved preferences and reaction outcomes. Your browser controls extension removal and storage cleanup. Clearing extension data does not remove records held by an extension store or another website. Offline text lessons and lesson search do not require network requests. Sharing passes the chosen lesson to your selected destination, which has its own privacy and retention rules. Installing or updating an extension contacts the relevant browser store or distribution service. That provider may receive your IP address and ordinary request metadata. Its policies govern retention and deletion. The website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics and receives ordinary hosting requests. Local deletion does not erase records held by those providers.
