How to Clear Your Saved Whistle Reaction History
To clear whistle history, stop any sound, find the saved reaction results, and use their clear action. Check that the dated entries disappear. This removes the local reaction record; it does not reset the separate daily allowance for preset drills.
Check which record you want to remove
The history is a small record of recent reaction checks. Each saved entry has a date and the outcome you selected. The app retains the last three outcomes locally. Read those entries before clearing them, especially if you want to keep a note elsewhere. This history is separate from the preset drill controls and their daily run limit. It is also separate from the text lessons. There is no account history to open on another device, and no journal with longer notes. Treat the visible list as a short record of your own selections.
- Look at the dates as well as the outcome labels.
- Clear the reaction list through its own action.
- Do not treat a dated result as a recording of sound.
Stop playback before clearing entries
Finish any active sound before working with the saved list. Escape stops playback when you are not typing. Space toggles playback outside text entry, so avoid pressing it casually while reviewing results. If you use hold playback, release the control. If you use toggle playback, stop the active tone. Clearing history is a data action, so use the playback controls to stop sound first. For any later sound check, begin with low system volume and keep the device away from ears. Stop if the sound causes discomfort. An empty history is not a reason to repeat a burst immediately.
Use the clear action and inspect the list
Find the saved outcomes and activate the clear action associated with them. Then look at the same area again. The dated entries should be gone. A later reaction check can add a new result, so a new entry does not by itself mean clearing failed. Check the date and consider whether you saved another outcome afterward. If old entries remain visible, check that you used the reaction history action. Do not erase all browser storage as the first response. That is a broader browser action than removing these three results.
- Review the list immediately after clearing.
- Distinguish an old entry from a newly saved outcome.
- Keep the daily drill count separate from the history check.
Understand what the remaining controls mean
The reaction flow plays a four-second burst, then asks you to choose reacted or noReaction. The app does not use a microphone to decide for you. Those labels reflect your observation, not a measured speaker output or a promised training result. Dogs vary, and a missing reaction does not explain why it happened. The app has no uploads, advertising, telemetry, or accounts, though hosting metadata exists. Clearing local outcomes does not remove that hosting metadata. The three preset drills have a combined allowance of three runs per UTC day. Deleting reaction entries does not create extra runs. You can read the twenty searchable text lessons without creating another reaction result.
- Read the three recent dated outcomes and decide whether you need to copy any details before removal.
- Stop the active tone through its playback control, or press Escape while outside a text field.
- Use the clear action attached to the saved reaction outcomes.
- Inspect the result area for remaining dated entries before starting another reaction check.
Does clearing history restore my daily drill runs?
No. The three-run daily allowance belongs to the preset drills. Its reset follows UTC midnight, independently of the saved reaction list.
Can I retrieve older results from an account?
There are no accounts. The app stores only the last three dated outcomes locally and has no longer journal to consult.
Does noReaction mean the whistle failed?
No. It is the label you selected after the burst. It does not measure sound output or explain the dog's response. Avoid using it as a reason to raise volume.
